Hernan Lopez
Chief Operations Officer
Hernan Lopez joined BioLab Holdings in September 2024 as Chief Operations Officer, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience in the medical device and biotechnology industries. Prior to joining BioLab, Mr. Lopez served as a key executive for early-stage startups and hyper-growth companies across diagnostics, oncology, and aesthetics. Mr. Lopez was Executive Vice President of Operations at GT Medical Technologies, where he helped secure FDA clearances, lead commercialization of GammaTile™ Therapy for brain tumor treatment, and played a central role in fundraising and M&A activities. Mr. Lopez's career also includes senior leadership at Ulthera, a high-growth aesthetics company acquired for $600 million, and technical leadership at Boston Scientific.
Mr. Lopez has also served as a mentor to startups through Parallel18 and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of Arizona.
Mr. Lopez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.
